First, when installing this pressure switch, the gas tube goes to the front smaller opening under the red dot, the connection with the smaller colored opening. This was different than the old pressure switch on my Frigidaire furnace that was installed back in 2003. My furnace was turning on but not igniting and not turning on the blower motor. The HVAC company I called told me it was the transducer motor, which by an odd coincidence is the most expensive part in the furnace. They replaced that at a cost of $500. It did not fix my problem. I was angry. I now dislike tradesmen. I did some investigating about my furnace's symptoms and determined it was either the pressure switch or the flame sensor. Flame sensor was just cleaned. I purchased this. I installed this two months ago. Furnace has worked perfectly ever since. If you call out a tradesman for a repair, make sure you get it in writing that if their diagnosis is incorrect, you will get your money back. And always replace parts from cheapest to most expensive if you're flying blind, not most expensive to least expensive like a tradesman will do.

Worked fine, however, it turns out the switch was not my issue but a bad seal between the blower motor and the plastic collection chamber where the rubber lines connects to. Because of that bad seal, the line was not seeing enough vacuum to activate the switch. Now I have an extra in case this one ever goes bad. :) Still cheaper than getting someone out here, and luckily it went out at early spring, not middle of winter.

After doing some troubleshooting I was fairly certain my pressure switch was sticking. This replacement part arrived quickly and now the furnace is working perfectly. Super easy to install. Does not include mounting screws so make sure and keep the old ones.

Great replacement. Fixed our furnace. Different layout than the dead factory switch but the gas hose goes to the intake under the big red dot on the front. The other (impeller?) hose goes to the “rear” connection.
