I read that this was an ATK pick for best wedger and I can see why. I love that it makes more smaller wedges than my previous wedger. It cuts apple pieces the perfect size and shape for apple pie, which is my main use for it.

Like that there are more, smaller apple wedges than with other brands/styles. But the handles are too tall for the drawer where I wanted to store it.

While it takes much more downward force than I expected it does a good job. The separate base to pop out the pieces and core is great.

I use this to slice apples, pears, etc for cobblers, pies, or to put in oatmeal, cream of wheat, etc. The smaller slices are a nice size. Easy to use and it a time saver

I love this slicer. Although it is a little tough to get through some apples I still love it. Be sure to use the “cutting board” included with the slicer. It pushes the core up and spreads the thin slices out. Love it

This well made and easy to use. I enjoy eating apple slices with peanut butter, so this makes slicing fast.

Requires significant pressure to use and with imperfectly shaped apples it slips and slices into your fingers instead. It was fun for a bit, but going back to knife, slower, but way safer and less frustrating.

My daughter had one and I love it. I am processing lots of apples for applesauce. It makes lots of slices that are the perfect size and I don't have to cut them up any smaller. I have cut up so many apples that it is starting to show wear. I just bought it about a month ago. The middle section (plastic) is wearing down. You can send me a replacement?? Anyway I Do Love it and thank you for making such a nice product.

I bought this because my dentist told me I shouldn't bike into apples anymore and I was tired of coring and slicing them with a pairing knife. It does take a bit of force to get it through firmer types of apples and you must be careful to have it aligned right for the final push (I've already nicked the plastic of the central raised part that lifts the core). I find it's easiest to clean it by putting a bit of dish soap on the base, holding the 2 pieces together and then filling the blade area with hot water (and therefore suds) before rinsing. It may also be dishwasher safe but I'm not sure and haven't tried it.16 slices makes even a smallish apple feel like a lot for a snack!

I love this apple slicer! It gives you double the slices so you feel like you're getting more and the base makes it so easy to pop them out! Love it!

I didn't think having smaller slices would make a difference, but it does. Apples are simply better at this size. I don't know why, but they are.
