Mission: North Star Initiative supports women who are survivors of domestic sex trafficking by providing physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual care through a Christ-centered focus.

Results: North Star Initiative has established The Harbor, a local restoration home and program for adult, female survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation; the home began receiving clients in December of 2017.The Harbor's restoration program is designed to address the "whole" woman; each client will participate in individual and group therapy, have access to basic medical and legal services, and receive an education and job-skills training so she can ultimately transition back into the community.

Target demographics: Adult, female survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Geographic areas served: South-central Pennsylvania

Programs: North star initiative is dedicated to the restoration of victims of human trafficking through the development of a restoration home that will address the holistic needs of survivors of sex trafficking.
