Mission: The Northwest Atlantic Marine Alliance’s mission is to restore and enhance an enduring marine system supporting a healthy diversity and an abundance of marine life and human uses through a self-organizing and self-governing organization.

Programs: The three main program areas are: 1) Creating opportunities for collaboration between diverse stakeholders; 2) Advancing fisheries science and management approaches through innovative thinking; and 3) Communication with and among stakeholder groups.
