This was recommended by a friend's mother. I knew nothing about the book before picking it up. It is a story about a woman who is going both deaf and blind. As an eye doctor it was fascinating to read about her experiences with her vision. She is an inspiration for her determination to continue forward with life. Thanks for the recommendation Barbara.
