I bought this kettle in October 2021 and used it everyday. I really don't understand some of these reviews. This kettle has not damaged my induction cook top, as you can see from the photos. I have never burned my hand holding the handle. It stays cool. No problems at all with the black coating peeling or blistering. Interior is a bit discolored but that's to be expected depending on how hard your water is. (Mine is not) The surface cleans easily with soap and water. Nothing abrasive obviously, but nothing abrasive is needed. My only complaint is, I wish I didn't have to manually lift the cover on the spout, but I have never burned my hand doing that. I am sure there may be a few lemons out there, but guess I didn't get one!

Looks great! I love that you don't need a pot holder and like that the handle moves, giving easier access to clean and fill.

I have used a whistling tea kettle for decades. When it was time to get a new one I decided to try this one. Was interested in the loud whistling listed in the description. When it arrived, I cleaned it and put it on to boil. I have to admit I was waiting and waiting for the whistle. When I went to check it, it was boiling but no sound. I looked to make sure both the lid and whistle valve were secure as this is usually why they don't whistle. Both were secure. I decided to just let it cool off so I could return it as it didn't work. When I came to pour the water out I noticed a sizable puddle on the stove. There was a slow dripping leak where the bottom attaches to the side!! SO, NO WHISTLE AND IT LEAKS, Also, it was lighter than I expected for something of its price.

Works good and looks good. Since it is larger than the average tea kettle it is heavier and might be harder to handle if weight is an issue for you.

I used to buy drinking water now I have a big enough kettle to boil the chlorine out. The kettle heats up quickly and holds 3 quarts. Perfect!

Great looking kettle but peeling by January.It's now February 25 2022. This is the inside and outside. DO NOT BUY! WASTE IF MONEY.

The kettle is well designed and made. The metal is of good quality and the matte baked in paint looks nice. The bottom is wide so flame does not rise up and around the body of the kettle which happens to many kettlesit matters if you use gas stove. The only drawback is the silicon material that wraps around the handle. It does not insulate the heat very well. So after the waters boils I still need to use a towel to wrap around the handle to pick up the kettle.

This is the perfect sized kettle for my family. We love drinking tea throughout the day, so this is just right for us. It has a nice look to it as well

It like that it has a wide lid opening for cleaning. Love flip spout. Handle has grip so doesn't get hot. Nice and wide so can have full flame and heat quickly. Whistle depends on tightness of lid.

It's a good looking teapot, too bad they leak. The first one leaked, then we returned it. Got another one, and it leaked just like the first one. They leaked around the base.

The handle moves from side to side so it's easy to fill and clean. Best teapot I have ever had. Heats much faster than I thought it would.
