First one I got started having metal bits and scrapes come out when pouring the water out after a week of use. Thinking I got a bad one and got a replacement but that one was same as well, bits of metal starts coming out after about a week of use again. Otherwise everything else is would've been fine, handle is heat resistant, whistles fine.

I searched around for weeks trying to find an attractive tea pot that actually worked and would last a long time. This pot is perfect. Simple and elegant to leave out on the stove and can handle hotter temps on my gas stove that allows for the water to heat up faster. I have accidentally left water in it a few times and haven't seen any signs of rust. Highly recommend!

So far so good. Whistles when ready and gets me going in the morning with a hot cup of tea. I like that the handle folds down for filling.

It's a bit heavier than I expected but it's great. Well made, solid, not cheap quality. It whistles nice and loud! Love the mate finish, and the black color. Hold a great amount of fluid. Works great! Should have gotten it 2 post ago! They were cheaper and it showed!!!
