When you look at a jar, you get excited and cannot wait to eat but then you try it and cannot eat anymore- just one bite and that is it!Then you will feel guilty to throw away as its ingredients are not so bad..and you keep it for moments when you want some chocolate spread.Well, you will not gain weight with this, as you will just not be able to eat a lot.

I was excited to get a vegan version of Nutella because while homemade is great, it's time-consuming and hazelnuts aren't cheap. First off let me say that it's probably great for younger kids. It's extremely sweet , especially when you're expecting dark chocolate. Maybe I'm traumatized by the 70's/80's when health conscious parents substituted carob for all things chocolate, but the first thing I tasted was the carob in this. It seems an unnecessary addition, and is probably why the bite of dark chocolate isn't there. It's not terrible, but honestly the original version is less sweet.

I've tried 3 brands looking for a replacement for Nutella. This is basically the same review I left for all 3. Nocciolata is the last/3rd final brand I'm trying because the taste consistency is nearly identical to Nutella. NUTIVA's consistency is smooth, but not as thick as Nutella it's also more on the (very) dark chocolate side than hazelnut flavor. And ELIOT's came mostly as a hard glob in the center the rest was very runny. It took several minutes to break down the clump get it thoroughly mixed. Even after blending it's still runny, gritty won't even stay on a butter knife. It's also very dark chocolatey too bitter for me. The only issue I have with Nocciolata is the price. Healthier, but more expensive.

My daughter loved Nutella before the doctor told her that she couldn't have dairy anymore. She loves this replacement.

This product is delicious and not so ridiculously sweet like Nutella. Nutiva makes a dark chocolate and regular. The dark chocolate is flavorful, not too sweet and so delicious. I do not like Nutella and I never have.This is the only hazelnut chocolate spread I will buy. Not healthy it's still sugary it's a nice treat once in a while.Way better than Trader Joe's cookie butter too

It amazes me that this product has so many good reviews. What I got had about the same flavor as chalk dipped in unsweetened chocolate that someone once waived near a hazelnut.As someone who doesn't like overly sweet things, I thought this would be a product I'd love. The truth is, eating it feels like a chore.

This stuff is delicious! Every once a while I like treat myself to a decadent treat would crave Nutella but hesitate due to the sugar content. I have tried so many other healthy substitutes and ended disappointed with the taste and consistency. This product is an outstanding substitute!

We love to use this for many different things.It can be used as a filling in a pastry.Also doubles as an icing in vegan baked goods.Kids love it too.I think it is easy to use .
