The OASE Bitron C 110 UV Clarifer provides consistent clear and healthy pond water by flocculating algae for removal by the pond filter. This reduces toxins produced by dead algae cells that breakdown while in the pond.
OASE Bitron C UV Clarifiers feature an integrated bypass that allows only optimum water flow to pass over the UV light for optimal efficiency. The Bitron also features a self-cleaning design for the quartz sleeve to keep the UV function at peak efficiency.

We have a pond gravel filter and needed some removal of surface pollen, fir needles and foam. This little guy did the trick! I would recommend to anyone using a pond filter that does not clean the surface. Huge improvement and easy to use.

We have a large (10'x10' surface area) deep pond surrounded by trees. This time of year we get all sorts of tree debris and pollen. This things removes all that from the water surface quickly. My one complaint about this is the power cord interferes with how the unit floats. The cord tends to pull the unit towards the edges of the pond.

I purchased this to replace a static pond skimmer by another popular brand. This is perfect! It's easy to setup, maintains very well and is easy to clean. It's predecessor was bulky, heavy, flimsy and not the best to maintain. Extremely happy with OASE!
