This product is very small, smaller than expected.I didn't want to pay for the full size product (I do own two at full size because I am in the fitness business), but this one was for family use, specifically, the calves.For that purpose, it works great.For other purposes, I would suggest getting the full size product as it will be a more useful tool by far.

This is a great little roller to have on hand firmer than Id generally want but in its size it's good for working out a range of muscle groups.

I really like this roller! It is compact and really does the job. I am knocking off one star, however, because of the roller's firmness. I would not use this item to roll the side of my body, and it is pretty firm (but tolerable) pressure for the mid and upper back as well. Still, a roller like this one has its place in your collection if you know how to use it appropriately.Also, I like to use this roller whenever I am doing exercises that require me to lay on my side. It is a good support for the head (more so than a pillow).

This is an excellent roller for my needs, rolling along thigh for IT band pain and along spine for back pain. It does not deform even with all my weight on it. It is firm but not so hard that it hurts- I tried using PVC pipe when I had serious back pain on a trip and OUCH!
