A wonderful roller, much better than anything that the gym provides. It works wonders at straightening and relaxing the curve in your upper back that occurs when your job is sitting and reaching forward.

I've been using this everyday since I got it. Some may not like how firm it is, but for me...it is PERFECT! It can alleviate so much daily stress - shoulders, back, hips, legs...I've gotten 3 of my friends to buy them too after trying mine out. It seems very durable as well.

I had originally ordered the OPTP black roller but it was not satisfactory due to the excess firmness. This is perfect for my use and I am happy that I chose this.

I had bought cheaper models and they break down quickly. Have had this one for a year and it is still like it is brand new. It is very firm, but that is how I like it anyway.

Arrived promptly and in great condition. I'm not sure of the difference, if any, in the green and blue foam rollers, but the red foam is MUCH softer - sure it's more comfortable, but it's probably ineffective. To foam roll effectively, you need something fairly firm. Many good products describe how to use these effectively - I like Mike Boyle's stuff. Foam rolling should be done BEFORE stretching as it is necessary to change the tissue density before attempting to change its length.

I am a runner and workout frequently and the body roller has been great for rolling out my back and IT (iliotibial) band. It is very firm and works well.

After trying other foam rollers, talking with my massage therapist and my Chiropractor I settled on this particular one. It's highly recommended by my Chiropractor who also does physical therapy. I work out with heavy weights as well as lots of cardio (biking, running, etc) 6 days a week. This roller warms up my muscles before my work outs and cools them down after and it only takes just a few minutes. It's amazing. Muscle soreness has been greatly reduced as well as all knots from sitting all day are worked out. If I didnt work out, I would still roll just for the massage and pain relief alone. I use to get massages 2-3 times a month..NOW? only once a month (and I only do it because i love it - not because I need it) A cool side note, my core strength has been greatly enhanced by the use of this roller in order to roll properly you will deveop core. My husband use to laugh at me everyday...but recently he has had some knots in his back. I convinced him to roll and now he is HOOKED!! I cannot EVER be without a roller....this particular one is of EXCELLENT quality and will not deform. I am suprised how relatively inexpensive this is because the stores carry inferior ones for about the same price. Buy this one.

This item is great for loosening tight muscles and relieving stress. Use daily for best results. Does not compress like the foam rollers. Very good quality.

My physical therapist recommended this exact item. I ordered it and it got here EXTREMELY quickly. It was new, wrapped in plastic, and boxed well. It was everything I expected it to be. It exactly matches what I use during my PT sessions. It is light weight, yet rugged, does not seem to peel in any way, etc. It should hold up nicely because this exact item is probably used all day long in the PT office. They don't have a whole bunch of them, they have this one, and some other colors/types, which means it gets lots of use and appears new still, etc.

This medium density foam roller is perfect for balance exercises and for rolling out crimped muscles. It has done more to improve my chronic shoulder issues than massage, chiropractic, or cortisone injections combined. The softer rollers are admittedly more comfortable against the spine for a bony person, but are not adequately dense for rolling. The high density roller is like pressing your spine against concrete. This one is just right!

This is my second foam roller...I started out with a cheaper version from a dept store. What a difference! This roller is much firmer but it does what it's supposed to do with no "give" like I was experiencing with my previous roller. I rely heavily on my foam roller to keep me running, biking, hiking, etc without muscle injury and my previous roller just couldn't keep up. Not so with this roller. I love it! If someone wants a firm roller to keep the muscle kinks worked out, this is definitely one that will take care of it.

Great Roller, I got the firmest version and it's great. This material is far superior to the styrofoam type.

I like the finish on this roller better than the ones you typically find at the sporting goods store. This one is also firmer than most others. Do a YouTube search for M.E.L.T exercises, which what got me started using the roller!
