Rolling is a great way to get out those little cracks in the back. I've also used it on my IT band (I'm a runner) and its helped tremedously. After a few years of owning and using it it still is as good as new. Firm but not like solid steel.

Because this foam roller outperforms any other roller I've ever seen or used. Very well made, firm but not too hard. Certain to last a long time. Have bought two now, gifted one to a yoga enthusiast friend.

Good quality product, but if you just want to roll out muscles, I would suggest the medium size. This thing is a big overkill perhaps, but my kids like to play with it!

Price was good, and I really like it, use it whenever I need to work out a know from leg or back muscles. No regrets with this one

I've used a roller for years and this one is the best choice out there. It is attractive and does not easily collect dirt. Also, it is not compressing... yet. Hopefully it will hold up. Highly recommend rolling, it gives a pretty good massage.

Even though the manufacturer (OPTP) rates the density of this roller as medium, it feels more like hard. I have and used all three types (soft, medium and hard) and it is difficult to tell this roller from the roller rated hard from the same company.However, the quality and functionality of this roller is unsurpassed.

This foam roller is great. I use it all the time! It is the perfect size, it doesn't take up much room, but at the same time it is not small.

According to the OTP website both the green marble and the blue marble OTPT Pro foam rollers are the same identical density (medium-firm) while the pink marble Pro roller is softer.I bought a different foam roller a couple years ago. It was badly bent when it arrived and I immediately shipped it back (it was an extremely hot week in July or Aug and I suspect it got too hot in the back of a truck or storage building).This OTPT pro foam roller is very high quality and didn't cost that much more than the first one. I like it much better in every way. The earlier one you could see was made up of "beads" that looked like black styrofoam. A very high grade of foam perhaps, but basically the same structure and look as styrofoam and I questioned how it would hold up. By contrast this OTPT pro foam roller has some kind of uniform coating all over the outside (including the ends) that makes it look far more durable and easier to keep clean. It has a more rubbery vinyl feel to it which I think feels better on bare skin.If you leave it leaned against something it will get a slight bend to it, but it goes away again after you store it flat. I don't think you're supposed to store any foam roller on its end or in a leaning position.I'm fit and athletic and the density of this firm roller is just right for me.

Not too hard/film, but not a pillow either. This roller can effectively work out those trigger points and tight muscles. A really good buy!

This is the best foam roller that I've purchased so far. The extra length makes it far more stable than the rolls I've purchased in the past. It's not too hard, yet holds up under my full body weight. I'd definitely recommend it.

The foam roller is in my physical therapists' arsenal of equipment to improve posture after undergoing manipulation for a frozen shoulder; I've been lying on it on my back lengthwise, forcing my shoulders to drop back and stretch. Ultimately, I find my posture much improved! The roller is also good on your back lying on it crosswise, beginning the roll from your shoulders down to your lower back, clasping your hands behind your neck Oh it is wonderful!

I would recommend this roller to friends. this roller seems to last longer and not collapse in the spots i use it.
