Provides solid sun protection in the front with ventilation mesh covering the rest. Also makes a bad raincoat hood more useful and comfortable. Used it for summer biking and flip it around for neck protection as needed in the day. It looks better backwards on me.Hope this helps

Felt like poor quality vs yupoong hays I have. Purchased because they don't have orange. Not even close to quality and this is a dollar more.

I wanted a simple black trucker hat, which is what this is. It is advertised as a having a high crown, however, to me it is a normal crown. Perhaps if you're a smaller person it may seem high, but on me it is just what I wanted. I wear a 7 and 3/8 fitted hat so perhaps my head is on the larger side, however I have come across trucker hats that I even feel are too high. It arrived a little squished, but the foam recovered and looks just fine now.

I like this type of hat and have about 10 different colors in them now. I've worn this type of hat for over 40 years now and feel naked without them.
