I've been trying to phase out plastic fabrics and move to natural fibers only. The tag on this beanie does say 100 cotton and it passes the lighter test (tried it on the inside seam - does not melt).I'm pleased with the feel and quality of the fabric. It feels nice, thick, soft, and substantial. Double layer construction. The grey color looks nice. A bit large to wear without turning the bottom edge up a little (on my about average man sized head).Overall, I like it. I'll probably order one or two more of them.P.S. - Mine seemed a little big when I got it. Washed it inside out on cold, then ran through the dryer on high heat. Shrank down to the perfect size.

This beanie is made well and fits well for me (a man ft tall with average head size). Quite warm. Good to sleep in.

100 cotton hats, especially with a no-fold brim, are difficult to find. This hat is stretchy, fits a large/oversized noggin, but doesn't squeeze. Won't melt onto the wearer's head in the event of a high-temperature disaster. Soft, too!

I've bought several. Unlike so many garments on here, these hats really are 100 cotton, no poly! Decently thick, soft and good quality for the price point. Wish they came in white.
