I've come to expect headwear not properly fitting me but I had a little hope that carhart would be an exception. It is not, while it did eventually sorta stretch out to fit, it still feels too tight but I'm hoping that'll change given time. Quality is good, made in America and all that. Also the top of the beanie sticks out unless I fully pull it over both my ears and eyebrows, since I wear glasses that's not really an option.

Picked this up as a present for my Niece, she loves it. she has 4 of these Carhartt hats, and I have 3 of them, my father has 3, our family has a few of these. they are very warm.

I put 4 stars on softness because it's not that soft and THAT'S GOOD, I didn't want it to be. It fits just right and I have a good sized noggin. It's a perfect fit for me. If you want a skull cap or whatever you call those, this isn't that. The only thing I was looking at when I purchased this was the color. It's warm, it fits and it's exactly what I wanted.

When i so excitedly opened this package I found that the hat had a lil dead bug in it. I think the hat belongs to this dead bug but I will still wear it in honor of said lil dead bug.

I actually bought this item twice. I bought the dark grey beanie for a snowboarding trip, and its kept my head warm even covered in snow. Carhartt makes great products that work as expected, or even more, every time. I bought the second beanie for my wife because she was jealous of mine. No complaint from the wife so far.
