Mission: The Ottumwa Area Community Chorus's mission is to make the joy of performing high quality choral music available to everyone, and thereby enrich the cultural life of our community. As a non-auditioned chorus, we inspire singers at all levels of ability to improve their vocal technique through informative rehearsals and performances of a wide variety of music, including sacred and secular, classical and popular, and historic and contemporary. ”

Target demographics: We intentionally include a wide range of demographics (all ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic groups; all ages and experience levels))

Direct beneficiaries per year: We support multiple fine arts organizations through collaborative and invited performances (Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, Viva Ottumwa International Festival, Ottumwa Municipal Band, the American Gothic Performing Arts Festival; in addition to our own concerts/performances

Geographic areas served: Ottumwa, IA and surrounding communities (one hour radius)

Programs: High quality choral music performances; Opportunities to learn vocal techniques proven effective for improving the singing voice
