I attached my work bathroom key to this. This will come off your belt when you pull on it. I also cannot hold to many items; it will not retract back if too heavy. It should hold a badge alright. but again it will slip off your belt when pulled. So use the caribiner if you're going to be pulling it alot.

These work better than I expected and I use it every day when I go to work. I clip the hook onto a belt buckle and my ID card on the other end and it just works. Shipping was fast and relatively cheap, and now I don't have to worry about losing my ID anymore since it's always with me when I need it. Simple but effective.

Arrived fast, sellar was quick to respond to a minor issue I had. However, the retraction cord is not designed to hold something with more than a few keys. Liked the idea

Took it out of the plastic bag, attempted to clip it onto my belt, it came completely apart. Useless, and total waste of money.

Great clip for what it is, holds weight of a double badge holder along with a gripper with another badge attached, no problems retracting. Glad I ordered two, broke the first one in a day (my fault, sat down, it cought the belt loop clip and exploded).

It is well made, but I have five thick keys, one small plastic dig key fob and a ring connector(so I can detach it quickly) and it is a little too heave for the system. If I move it will dangle a few inches or more. If I pick it up the slack will be taken up until I move quickly again. It may have listed the weight capacity on the description, but I don't have a small enough scale or have the ability to estimate the total grams of my keys. I'd love another if they made a version that's a little stronger.
