I like everything about the reel. the line is strong. It holds all my badges and doesn't come unbuttoned like some others. the extra ring besides the carabineer is a good touch for holding other things. rated a 4 because when ordered it said reels. which is plural not singular. otherwise great product.

I figured that for the price this would be a really cheap piece of junk that would break easily, but I have been using it for a while now, and it works great. I like that I can both clip it to my belt loop and belt at the same time.

This is huge. I was hoping it'd be small or regular size, but it's too large, it doubles the size of the one I had before, so I just left it in the office on plain sight hoping somebody would take it...

Broke within a few days of using it, I would skip this one and look for one that is higher quality and will last.

Usually I slip the back clip on my pants pocket. The carabiner on the top can be clipped on belt loops when my slacks don't have pockets. The reel is a little large, so it will hang heavy on a shirt pocket. It has a key ring attached which would be great if you need to constantly access a particular key, but I wouldn't recommend putting your whole keychain on it.

This is a heavy duty durable badge holder. Clips to my belt loop - even my jeans belt loop which is thick. Stays securely where I place it. The nylon cord is strong and not prone to break. And the price is awesome! Could not be happier.

Thing to hold your keys or id badge. The clip, clips and the snap, snaps, and the retracting string, retracts. and all for the price of a few bucks. Oh my it does what it does.

Works great so far. I have no problems with it. I use it to go in and out of work. I have to stretch my card to unlock the door. Works fine for me.

I went through 2 of another brand in the last year and found these. At this price i figured heck why not since the others that broke were more expensive. This has lasted 7 months of daily use and still going strong.

I really like this badge holder. I got one for myself and for someone else. I clip the holder onto my scrubs and it has never fallen off unexpectedly. I often need to pull my reel for scanning of my badge as well. So far I have had this holder for 6 months and I have no complaints. I rarely use the carabiner part, as I don't often wear clothing with loops.

What a great idea! A carabiner AND belt clip on a retractable badge holder!But...The carabiner basically just clips onto the plastic. Mine kept coming unclipped, resulting in no badge holder on my beltloop or bag hok. Okay, superglue that pup.The belt clip was always a bit loose, wouldn't grab onto my pants, but I used it sometimes anyhow; not all pants have belt loops. And then it came off a few times also.You can't superglue the belt clip on. I tried. To get any real hold, the glue needs to go on the inside with the belt clip anchor... but that's where the retracting spindle is. Get glue there and the whole item is immobilized.So the two main reason you would buy this - the carabiner and the clip - both are not actually firmly affixed to the device. Which is, don't forget, the whole point of the device.

I work as a waitress and I clip this to my belt loop and have my swipey card attached to it. I've had it for over six months and it hasn't broken yet. Definitely worth the money.

These are not worth the money. Very cheap quality and some of the reels didn't retract completely on the 30 we bought.Also the cost of .87 is a lie because the true cost is $2.90 per carabiner. If you buy 30 like we did the shipping cost is $60.10 which is more than $50.00 more than the true cost via USPS.
