This is great since I no longer have to bend over to unlock the door to the restroom. Very secure and love the carabiner clip. Doesn't fall off.

Does exactly what you expect it to. Belt hook or clip for securing to your your clothing. I use it at my job where keycards get you in and out.

Previous retractables wouldn't last long as the cord would unravel. This one is still going after several months ... It's substantial and versatile since you can use it as a clip or on a lanyard .... the only issue is that the black part comes out of the metal holder so I just super glued it and haven't had an issue since.

This item was useful for my badge for a while... until the clasp came off... like it didn't break.. it just slipped off and you could still re-attach it.. but it would still fall off eventually.So, I stuck with using the clip part of it. (Back splint)That was, until it decided to fall off when I was walking to the bus stop from work!I was without an ID for work for a few weeks, I didn't have the holder, badge or the little plastic thing that holds the card.. of course the managers kept forgetting to make me a new badge for a while, good thing I wrote down my numbers.. lol.But, if the clasp never fell off, this wouldn't have happened in the first place.. I'd still have the clasp too!!So, I give this a two stars because it just falls off.

This is strong. The carabiner clip can be put on your belt loop and it doesn't fall off. The one I had from work just had a back splint and kept falling off.

Only had for one week, but it looks and feels pretty durable.And the little metal snap on the plastic flap to hold your badge holds really well

Product performs well, clips on clothing as well as clips on metal. The only draw back is they wear out in 2-3 months, but my job is hard on most things.

The unit does what it says, but the construction to me seems so cheap, that clipping it or attaching it via the closure hook seem like a do at your own risk thing. I use it for a gym access key, chances of this getting lost between the locker room and gym aren't that big, but I would never trust it in the outside world commuting. Really I should attach something worthless to it and try to see if it really gets lost before I make bold claims, but somehow you can tell, it's not going to stay attached for long.

I bought this for my badge and keys at work. it has been great. It clips onto my jeans or pants. Or I can clip it to my purse with my key chain.Am very happy with it.

2nd day the belt clip broke.Within a week the whole mechanism fell apart.Poor quality junk. Avoid and purchase this one instead (which is holding up for me just fine):B0016BVOM0

Got this one when my microsoft one broke. Im rough on stuff so this one is still going I like that I have the option to change from clip to the slip on pocket clip im a girl I dont aways have belt loops to clip on to. I just wish the wire was metal not string
