I was searching for the perfect badge holder that would hold up to the abuse it would receive in the busy hospital unit where I work. This is the one. I like that I can either clip it to a belt loop or clip it to a pocket. Very versatile and well made. After several months this badge holder has not let me down and it has even hit the floor a few times without even a scratch. A great value.

The small back splint fell off after a couple of days, but with the carabiner you can put it equally well anywhere you want.I anyway bought more than one as I expected that they won't be perfect.

I need reach when I use my front door key, and this inexpensive carabiner gives me that reach. Can't ask for more than that.

The overall quality of this nice badge holder is higher than I expected. The carabiner type clip in the top is smooth with a smooth strong spring action. The dark black plastic has a rounded palm-friendly feel. The reel that lets you extend your badge out to scan has a smooth secure feeling action.When I tried to use the side clip to slide it on to something that was kinda to big for the pocket clip, the clip slid out, it it slid back back in securely. If you want the pocket side-clip to go onto anything wider than a jeans pocket, then you may need to hold it open with two hands to get it on. That is partially because it has a strong grip, and is going to stay on. But it is also a benefit if you do not need the side pocket syle clip, then you can easily remove it. I really just use the carabiner, so I am thinking of permanently leaving the side clip off.I would buy this again easily.

They last for a little while but do fall apart easily.. could have a better design... already broke 1 of them not sure how much longer the 2nd one will last.. next time I am going with a full metal body

Works perfectly. It doesn't look that nice in plain black, but it gets the job done. It would be better if it was offered in more colors.

Great product! Works well so far, and I love that it has both a belt clip and a carabiner - just gives more wearing options. I've only had it for about a week, so I can't comment on durability yet. Will post an update on that later.

This reel worked... lasted about a year though of daily use. The string just broke today, but because of the hook, I was able to still clip my badge to my belt and finish the day. I'm getting ready to order a couple more.

I started at a new security job so I needed this for my ID badge. It did take a little while to ship and my supervisor ended up giving me one of those cheap dime-a-dozen ones but when it did come in I was pleased. It has a weight to it and it is made of metal. Overall it feels like quality and I would definitely recommend it as a good and cheap badge reel.

didn't really like the action and it was a little hard to clip and unclip from my belt loop. Ok but only used it until I found something liked better and then got rid of it.

lasted about 8 months before the cord snapped. other than that it worked great, great price and it looked good, if only the cord was made of a more durable material, i bought another one with a Kevlar cord so im hoping it last longer esp since it was 3x the price of this one.

This product works very well for me. It attaches to my back pack and my scrubs very nicely. If I need more of these I will buy the same ones. Very pleased with my purchase.

Really solidly built. Needed to replace my broken work lanyard for my id. Seems like this will last a lot longer than my last one and was a great price!

I Love this I use it for my keys at work and i have attached it to my lanyard. The only thing I would change is that the retractable cord . I would like it to be some type of metal so it would be sturdier
