The best investment I've made this year. I removed the key ring as I carry my keys in my hand bag, however if I did need to carry keys I'm not sure I'd want to put that weight on badge holder. The ring is pretty small. It might be OK if you need to put one or two keys on it for work, but I wouldn't recommend your entire key ring. So basically I have a gripper on badge and it attaches to the plastic strip on the end of the holder. I like being able to attach to my belt loops rather than using the hook at the back. It seems much more secure now than the flimsy one I had before that was always falling off.

I've had this for a few months of regular use (4-12 times a day) and I haven't had a problem. It keeps my id card safely fastened, unlike my clips-ons prior, and it still looks to be in good shape.

I did not have this badge holder more than 1 hour and the cord snapped. I bought it because it said heavy duty. I didn't even get to use it for work.

this is my second order. first order, I had a bad string that broke in a couple of months. I have been using the second one for several months and no problems. I purchased two more just to make sure.

I use this for my card at work. the zippy string isnt very sturdy for much beyond that, i have bought a few of these and they last for about 9 months to a year with extensive use. i keep returning to these

The clip is solidly made, but I still like the insurance of the belt clip. No issues with the plastic/snap, though I've only used it for about 3 weeks

I bought this to clip my work keys on, since I kept getting holes in my pockets from taking my keys in and out all day long. It is durable. The retractable cord has remained in tact and has not frayed. I move around a lot at work, and I use the clip part to keep it on my belt. It has never fallen off.

This is exactly what I wanted: a badge holder with both a carabiner and a belt clip. Also has a key loop.Does what it's supposed to do. Looks good, works well.

I use this to carry my hospital ID's around work, both attached to a belt loop via the carabiner and on my scrubs pocket. The spring is strong enough to hold my 7 ID badges. Will buy again when this runs its natural course.

The string broke after 4 months of daily use.The remainder of the clip is good quality.You could always buy a pack of them, and then just have a spare for when the string breaks.

I hung an ID badge and 3 keys on this and it pulled down 4 inches.Not a strong enough retraction device. Picture show with a belt clip, neither of mine had belt clips.

Even with the cable being made of nylon this is a really good spool. It would be unbelievable if it were stainless steel cable but it is still a high quality reel and then you add the cheap price and this is a hard to beat reel!

I got this for the SkimSAFE FIPS 201 Black RFID Blocking 2-Card ID Card Holder and let me tell you it works great. The clip that attaches is sturdy and the is very secure feeling. This is for sure not a cheep product and when/if the cord ever brakes I will get another one. I might just get another now and save it for a rainy day. haha
