I love this carabiner style reels, they house my train pass, so I can easily scan on and off the train without getting trompled. I never worry that is will come apart, well made and slim design to not bulk up my messenger bag. Gave one to a nurse friend is constantly needs a bade holder for daily rounds. Great design and good job on the r&d!

They look pretty well made & the thread and pully have stood up continuous use of 6 months & I don't see the thread wearing thin or any other problems with the pully function.

The ID holder came with the clear plastic snap strap and an additional keyring. The keyring could be removed if you don't need it, but it's perfect for the RFID fob I need in addition to my ID card. The reel feels strong and sturdy (which is what broke on my last one), and is just what I need to scan my ID and/or fob without having to contort myself.

I bought three of these carabiners for holding keys. My son liked his so much he wanted to buy more to use a a badge holder. They have a nice finish and feel to them. They are a little larger than I would like - about 3 from the top of the caribiner clasp down to the triangular piece that holds the key ring. The Carabiner clip more secure than a slide on clip and won't just slide off making them less likely to be lost or taken off accidentally. These can be easily clipped to a chain or even pant belt loops or even pinned on with a safety pin. The nylon cord has a 30 reach which is more than enough for us. We've had them now for about 8 weeks and they look really good even with daily use. I wear mine 24 hours a day and even shower with it on and so far it works beautifully and looks good. I'll be coming back for more when these finally give out.

I wanted something small enough that I could hook it to my keychain and attach just one single key so i didn't have to fumble around with the whole set of janitor keys (as my wife calls 'em). With this, I can simply extend my house key and let it retract back when I'm done. Pretty handy. it's had lots of use (including as a toy for my 3-year old) and so far it's holding up great.

Before I bought this I had lost my badge a few times because the clip slipped when I sat down. The first one of these I had lasted over a year, and I didn't lose my badge. Now I just buy 2 or 3 of these, and I'm all set.

This product is a very useful badge and key holder for the workplace. The carabiner style snaps on and off very easily and the retractable reel makes it easy to reach badge readers, key holes, etc. Very reasonably priced.

I need a security card for work, and it works fine for that purpose. It includes a keychain loop to keep keys on it. My recommendation to all is to NOT use that for keys. The small thread will last a long time with just a card. Add the weight of keys? maybe not.This is my third one. They seem to last about a year and a half or so... and for the price, I wont complain at all.
