I have used these for years and loved it. They will break if for example you bump into a wall with it or something, but most plastic things do that. I've had some last for a year and i've had some break after a few months so make sure to get a couple if you know you like them. All I know is I won't use anything else. The fact that it clips like a carabiner to your belt loop is a very rare awesome feature. It's also very low profile too.

I wanted a clip on badge holder for work that was untagged so I bought this one. It is made from pretty sturdy quality for a few bucks. It doesn't look cheap or anything. The string feels like it has good pull, better than any other Retractable Badge ID holder I've used in the past. It clips on and off easy for work and looks more professional then hanging a badge from your neck. The hasp that holds the badge seems pretty cool in the manner that it doesn't seem like it will come open too easy. This was another great feature because the plastic part on my old lanyard for work kept opening and I'd find my ID/Badge on the ground. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a solution to needs similar to mine.

The retractable reel ID badge holder is light-weight and not too bulky. The clip easily opens to get on a belt loop, and doesn't open when pulled like some small carabiner clips can do. The string is weak and can't hold more than a few keys. Mine also got worn and then snapped, so I had to chuck the unit.So... great if it is light-weight items you are carrying and if you are not a heavy user, like I am. If you are a heavy user/work in an area where your keys/ID badge can get caught, don't waste your money.

I received this Reel a couple of weeks late, does not work very well, very cheaply made, good for a crackerjack toy maybe, Company has a 20% restocking fee and not a member of the BBB

This carabiner reel did the trick for a while. It lasted a few months, which is not bad, I guess, though I expected a simple device like this to last a good while, considering all I did is pull it back and forth a couple of times a day (which is ostensibly what it's designed for). The fact that it snapped after a few months' normal usage is not so bad; what earned this poor review is the rude response I got from the seller when I asked for a refund on this product I was not happy with. They went so far as to formally request that I not buy anything else from them. I thought that was a bit much (though I certainly won't be buying anything else from them). Fair warning to anyone considering patronizing this business.

This is an awesome product. It has a retractable length of about two and a half feet and it works great as a house key chain. I would highly reccomend this product. It's not cheap for its great price, and it is very durable.

this one did not work at all. bought a second one, and it's even worse than the first one. very bad product.

It's just like all the other one's I've owned. I'm sure it'll have a 6 month - 1 year life due to the string, but it does the job. I like them... better than a lanyard around my neck all day to hold my work id.

I am happy with them. Purchased 3 and they all work just fine. This will work great for fishing. I got extras just in case but may not need them.

If you're looking for a higher quality carabiner style badge holder, this definitely fits that category. Very inexpensive and much higher quality than the typical retractable badge holders you see.

May be you can talk to them and you can ship from different means which may be economical. But hey, you have a great product. I really like the security of the carabiner option on this retractable reel. I use it to attach my badge/card key to my backpack so I'm not fishing around for it. The styling is really nice and the reel travels very smoothly. Very satisfied and will recommend to friends.

Have used to carry ID badge for over year with no complaints. Attaches securely to belt loop and is long enough to tuck ID in pocket. No complaints and love the retractable key ring.

I've had this for more than 2 years now, and I'm still using it. I put all my work keys on it, and it works great. I don't consider this a tough, solidly built product, but for my purposes it works great.

Had the product for about 6 months for my school ID and the string snapped. Had to buy a new ID as well as a new room key! Got one at Dollar Tree for 1/3 the cost and it lasted 2 years. Still not broken, but I don't need it anymore since I graduated. The one thing that I liked better about this one, however, is that it clips rather than sliding onto my key ring.

Slim, feels durable. I use it with office attire and the inline design for attaching to the badge and belt loop really reduces my concern that I will catch and/or damage clothes.Update, lasted 9 months and broke.

I use this to attach my company's access card (inside the clear sleeve) and two keys off the key ring. This product appears to be as solid if not more so than any of the previous ones I have tried. Time will tell with my kids how long it'll last, but initial impression is it should hold up well.

I just ordered these and they won't ship to Alaska so I'm obviously not impressed already. I can understand certain products not being allowed through Canada but an I.D. Holder?!?!?
