Arrived in perfect time as my other broke. It works and that's all that matters to me. It's not as good as the metal chain type for durability, but it doesn't tangle or bind.

I use it to keep my keys handy in my tote bag!I can find my keys easily, pull them out to unlockmy door, then let them go and know I will findthem again when I need them!

Great for holding multiple badges and ids. I use it everyday for to keep my work badge and related security ids in one place. Worth the money.

Sturdy, quality, the clasp is strong. It is a great ID, key, small tool holder. It is not an industrial strength one however.

Great product for the money. Only misgiving is that the line doesn't retract very well for heavy key chains, but I have no basis for comparison. I've never used one of these before.

I used this daily at work with my badge. I have a tendency to play with it and pull it out and allow it to retract probably on average at least 30 times a day (other than the times I have to actually use it to badge in). After 6 months it still offers a lot of resistance but I notice sometimes it seem to be stopping about 6 short due to the weight of the badge and holder, so I just give it a little extra pull up. (Once it's retracted it doesn't droop). I like it and will probably buy it again. Considering the price I would recommend getting a couple of them so when the spring finally wears out you can just replace it. Other than that I guess you could say it is a bit bulky, but I don't mind. The end that clicks to your lanyard can also hold other things like keys, a flash drive, or other small devices.

They look pretty well made & the thread and pully have stood up continuous use of 6 months & I don't see the thread wearing thin or any other problems with the pully function.

I bought three of these carabiners for holding keys. My son liked his so much he wanted to buy more to use a a badge holder. They have a nice finish and feel to them. They are a little larger than I would like - about 3 from the top of the caribiner clasp down to the triangular piece that holds the key ring. The Carabiner clip more secure than a slide on clip and won't just slide off making them less likely to be lost or taken off accidentally. These can be easily clipped to a chain or even pant belt loops or even pinned on with a safety pin. The nylon cord has a 30 reach which is more than enough for us. We've had them now for about 8 weeks and they look really good even with daily use. I wear mine 24 hours a day and even shower with it on and so far it works beautifully and looks good. I'll be coming back for more when these finally give out.

I have used these for years and loved it. They will break if for example you bump into a wall with it or something, but most plastic things do that. I've had some last for a year and i've had some break after a few months so make sure to get a couple if you know you like them. All I know is I won't use anything else. The fact that it clips like a carabiner to your belt loop is a very rare awesome feature. It's also very low profile too.

It's just like all the other one's I've owned. I'm sure it'll have a 6 month - 1 year life due to the string, but it does the job. I like them... better than a lanyard around my neck all day to hold my work id.

Have used to carry ID badge for over year with no complaints. Attaches securely to belt loop and is long enough to tuck ID in pocket. No complaints and love the retractable key ring.

I broke my keyring similar to this one that I had for years. I purchased this one to replace it as I needed another retractable one. This one is not as sturdy as I would like and anything more than 2 keys is to heavy for it.
