This was terrible! I got this to replace a cheap plastic clip reel key holder (the ones that come in a multi-pack) that was getting warn after using for 1 1/2 years. This, more expensive one, didn't last 2 months before the string stopped recoiling. Being mechanically inclined, I investigated the problem with the string not recoiling. Apparently, an internal plastic part (yes, plastic) intended to hold the tension of the metal spring broke off. I'm a teacher, so I do not use the recoiling function often throughout the day. Therefore, I was very disappointed I paid more money for what ended up being a cheaper quality product.

Excellent product at a great price. It seems to be very well constructed and it's nice to have the option of either the belt clip or the carabiner to attach it.

This badge holder is well made and has both the clip and the carabiner. However, I didn't realize that the carabiner would dig into my side when I clipped the holder to my belt. I suppose it would be fine if clipped to your shirt it would be fine. It is good product.

This holds my key to my office. It holds my badge. It clips easily to my scrubs. I don't think I could expect much more from this badge holder. It does what it is designed to do.

Very vibrant fuchsia color I ordered. Works very well and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the carabiner aspect. The cord seems sturdy so far and I like the option between using the O ring or the plastic badge strap.

I like the clip, it is very solid. I am not crazy about how low it hangs my work ID. I have to tuck it in my pocket when I walk, otherwise it swings back and forth obnoxiously.

Lightweight, so best used with a name badge or a few keys. I have perhaps 6 keys on mine and it's held up for six months now of daily use.

Bought this to replace a similar product that didn't last a day. This one is perfect! I can clip or hook it, and I can carry a train pass and keys, so it meets all my possible needs in one product that is holding up beautifully.

This thing is pretty nice. Spring retention is excellent and it can hold 3 ID cards and a couple keys. Perfect for my job. It looks really nice (the pics make it look cheap but it actually looks quality built.

Clip came off in the first week of use. Switched to the carabiner like part and it's doing just with constant use. I use it for holding a scan badge I use constantly at work. It's holding up so far.

I bought this item because the ones they give us at work break. I have to badge through 3 doors just to get to my office, so the string gets a lot of use. This item lasts longer and that's what I wanted! It's also nice that it has 2 ways to clip -- the pocket clip and the belt loop clip, as well as a keyring and the plastic loop for my badge.
