My son was always snagging mine so I got him his own pair. These are durable and so comfortable esp with our wide feet!

This is the 4th pair I have had of these over the past 10 or so years. They really do tend to last 2 years. My most recent pair broke the same summer I bought them so I contacted Okabashi and they replaced my broken pair. It's nice to know they honor their guarantee, but you likely won't need it.

We bought these for my neighbors 78 birthday..He has worn this brand for a long time..they seem to give his legs support when he's walking....I tried buying him a different kind, he very nicely told me NO.

First, for those of us used to Okabashi's sizes, here's the men's size equivalents from their website (the bottom of mine say LL): 5.5-6.5=M, 6.5-7.5=ML, 8.0-8.5=L, 9.0-10.0=LL, 10.5-11.5=XL, 12.0-13.0=XXLThese are the only flip-flops I can wear (yay, plantar fasciitis). But I CAN wear these. During the initial break in they can rub a bit (so wear them for less time the first few times, like with any new shoes), but after that, they're awesome. Yes, they are heavier than the cheapo foam crap., but they hold up well, and are actually foot-shaped. You get used to the weight, and their form helps them stay on your feet better than most flip-flops. They have enough give to be comfortable, but aren't so squishy they become worn thin fast. One piece construction means no having the strap and footbed come apart easily: no more having the connector between the toes pull through! They hold up really well--they have enough traction to be a lot safer, but not so chunky you're tracking mud chunks everywhere. And you're not going to have sharp sticks, rocks, or nails coming up through the sole like the cheapies.

Fits great, durable and made with a dense material. Exceptional support for a basic sandal, has shallow heel dip, toe ridge, and some arch support built in. Won't blow out since it's solid molded rubber, making it practical for locker rooms and walking around the beach. Easy to clean. Best basic-looking sandal for the price.
