I bought a pair of Okabashi Torino sandals a few years back which fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable and supportive. Eventually they started wearing out and I decided to purchase a new pair. The new Torinos are thinner which accentuates any irregularities on walking surfaces. The arch support is not as substantial as the older pair and they feel cheaply made. The tread design is different which may give the less comfortable, airy feel when walking. What happened to quality control?

The slippers are a bit too large but, if I get the next smaller size, it may be too tight & not quite long enough - wish they had half sizes.

Sent them back. Very heavy!

do not compare in comfort with last years large size. rather disappointed
