Kimchi making is going to be a new hobby for me. I have known for years about the probiotic health benefits of kimchi but can't get beyond the texture. However, Korean dramas have renewed my interest in trying something new. I plan to give kimchi making a try since I will be able to adjust flavors more to my own taste as I learn. Also, if I still can't get past the texture, I plan to use it up in kimchi pancakes or kimchi stew, or other dishes where the texture will not be noticed so much. I have an interest in other countries, cultures, and foods. I won't use this until the Spring, but the pot came well packed in styrofoam and was in good condition. I am looking forward to trying it out.
