This defroster tube worked good and fit perfectly in my 1979 Jeep CJ7 GE. The material is more like rubber than plastic like the other brand that's available. Fairly easy to install. Removing the radio and glove box makes it a breeze to install.

Is well made snaps at each end are useless. Pulled stereo to make install easier. Took some doing finished in about an hour. Works really good now.

I got a little too rough with it and broke one of the plastic locking tabs. I didn't feel like waiting for a replacement so I just used a large tie wrap to cinch it to the base. It works great!

Works as described but a kind of difficult to install. Its not the products fault...just an awkward position behind the dashboard to try to reach to get the top end attached.

Side and shape were perfect. Seems to be synthetic material to replace the original cloth. The latches (clamps) seem a little cheap but I was able to make is snug and work great. Very satisfied.
