perfect fit for my 1989 CJ7. a bit weird to get the bolts out of the old. tight space. Have two ratchets handy. The old filter plug from the original unit I had to slide into the new one with a ratchet and long stem to make it grab onto the threads, as the rubber washer is a bit thicker. Remember this goes on the inside! Once I figured that out, easy.

This bottle is the same shape as OEM for my '79 CJ7 BUT the plastic is about 3x thicker, so the original pump fitting is too short and the inside filter won't screw into the pump when the new rubber grommet is used. To get this to work I had to remove the included rubber grommet and use RTV inside and outside. I'm sure it will leak eventually. Original grommet in photo on left, new one from this bottle on right.
