Mission: One heart bulgaria is a non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for bulgarian orphans. We do this by providing supplemental food, hygiene items, and access to medicines and medical care. In addition, and most importantly, our programs are designed to provide the emotional support, guidance, and love that the bulgarian orphans so desperately need in order to truly thrive. Our long-term goals are: 1) Help orphans reintegrate into Bulgaria’s society as healthy, well-adjusted citizens 2) Offer training and support for foster care programs 3) Eradicate child abandonment 4) Help close down the orphanage system and 5) end Bulgaria’s orphan crisis.

Results: One Heart Bulgaria gives aid to 25 of Bulgaria's 150 orphanages by providing for the children's most basic physical and emotional needs. In addition, we assist with medical & dental care, education, and recreational programs.

Target demographics: underprivileged and malnourished children abandoned in Bulgaria's orphanages

Direct beneficiaries per year: over 1,000 Bulgarian orphans.
