Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 1300 military Veterans and their families find recovery and a better quality of life through Shockwave programs and/or community partnerships

Geographic areas served: Maricopa/Pinal/Gila/Coconino/Yavapai/Pima Counties in Arizona

Programs: We operate from the belief that we are “better together, ” and through combining efforts with other non-profits and like-hearted organizations, we can THRIVE! Our specific objectives and purpose are to: 1.Deliver and sustain meaningful opportunities to foster recovery and resiliency among Veterans;2.Facilitate and provide Veterans and their families with emotional support competencies, financial management, and other aptitudes to heal and THRIVE;3.Develop a collaborative community outreach program that unites with other veteran-friendly organizations in the areas of social engagement, community impact, and philanthropic aid;4.Facilitate community-wide events that provide education and prevention/intervention/postvention tools in order to combat military suicide;5.Advocate for policy changes that will move forward the best interests of Veterans and their family.
