Love my hat

Not sure what I was thinking. Love OR and almost all of their products. Nothing wrong with this hat except that it gets dirty too easily. My fault. I still LOVE OR!

Go get this hat right now!I'm rather lacking in the hair department and needed something to protect myself from the sun so I didn't have to necessarily worry about lathering you with sunscreen every time. This hat checks all the boxes.It is super light weight, extremely breathable, durable, washes easily, and does its job protecting my head from the sun's rays. I wear it when I run (4-5 times a week) as well as when I go to the pool, beach or camping.My wife even loves this hat and has tried to make it her own on multiple occasions. Don't say anything, but she will be getting her own very soon!

I am confirming the review written by Mac. It is a very nice, well ventilated cap. It's perfect for working out. However, as a previous review stated, they goofed on the strap. One end tucks under the sweatband. Unfortunately the end is not secured in any way. I'll have to pin or stitch it to keep it in place. It's a silly design error.

This cap is great when I'm fishing. Good all around use cap.

I own at least eight of these Swift Caps in various colors. They never disappoint.Quality construction, lightweight, breathable and comfortable. Outdoor Research really nailed it with this product.Sometimes I will give other brands a try, but I always go back to the Swift Caps. Especially for hiking, running, etc.

This cap is light, breathable and very nice looking. It is a very good quality cap too and find it convenient of hiking, kayaking and any other outdoor activities you can use it. Very good looking to walk around and protect you from the sun!

First of all I have a hard time finding hats that fit. My head measures 22” around and this hat is sized to fit heads 21.5 to 24”. This hat fits perfectly and on top of that is super comfortable to wear. The construction seems excellent.

I'm a Landscape Contractor and out in the sun and heat all the time. I have had 5 of these OR hats. Best hat hands down I have ever worn. Wicks well, lightweight, breathes well, and keeps its shape as I hand wash often and drys quick! I give it a 10! Fast delivery and arrived in good shape. I was happy with the service and the hat.

My son used to always complain about his hats being too hot. Not so with the well-ventilated OR Swift Cap. Thankfully, the Clay color is not as pink as shown in its product photo. Instead, it's more of a darker reddish, earthen hue. Head band's adjustability is excellent with a little space for tucking in excess strap.

It's the most perfect I've found so far. I like the vents on the side, but wish the sun block material was starched or stiff enough to be a gap between the full head vent. I'll likely cut off the top if I don't find a hat like this that is only vented. The head band isn't removable.Also, I like a longer bill option.

I have had one of these hats before and loved it for summer wearing. The SPF rating of 50 was important as I have active melanoma and need to shield my head and face. Alas I lost it last fall. I bought two of these hats this year at two different times. This hat color is obvious. The other is navy on grey. I got them from two different vendors at two prices ten dollars apart. They clean up well in the washer on gentle. Problems: if your head is large, you will need to pull the end of the tape from the place it is tucked in the hat. Once you have adjusted your tape, you might have a length of tape that flaps in the wind and feels like flies are landing on your neck. Annoying but you should be able to secure it.

I love almost everything about this hat. It's super comfy, extremely lightweight, breathable, and does a great job of keeping sweat off my face while running. It's going to be my go-to hat for hiking/backpacking and most outdoor activities too, I'm sure.My one gripe is the strap. They decided to unnecessarily reinvent a mechanism that has functioned fine for decades, and it gradually loosens up on me over time. I may just sew the adjustable part in placeTo make it stay put for good. I really wish they had just put a normal closure on instead of whatever this thing is. Otherwise, it's absolutely perfect!

These are great hats. I have two of them now. Great for summer or working out. Very comfortable and good protection from the sun..

After more than a decade of service it was finally time to retire the last of my similarly styled caps from Columbia. Sadly, it seems they aren't interested in making them like this anymore, so Outdoor Research got my $$ instead. After getting the first, I liked it enough to order four more.On the whole, these are fantastic hats. I would note the following issues, though...First and foremost, one of the five was poorly crafted. The bill was sewn on just a hair off-center, and has a strange warp to it that requires daily adjustment in order to not look like a goofball.As well, there are some issues with the clasp and strap in the back. Regarding the clasp itself, I find that when my otherwise buzzed hair is left to grow out to 1/8, it will sometimes snag and pull on hairs. The strap is no better, lacking any retention method when the cap is not in use, I find they sometimes worm their way out and need attention to get back into place. This can be solved by simply sewing the two layers together once you have found a suitable length.

lol I don't remember this being a women's hat when I ordered it, but it seems fine on my man skull. I wear this hat everyday during my runs.Sometimes when I am running in heavy winds, the adjustment strap can be difficult to tighten in order to keep the hat on my head. I don't know how much of a concern that is though, because that's usually at the line right where its almost too windy to wear any hat without a rope under your chin.One more small complaint: I like to hang my hat on a door knob when I'm not using it. The adjustment snap in the back comes apart so easily that the hat ends up on the ground instead.
