My go-to cap for years now.

Comparing to typical store caps (Golf Caps) this one runs about 15 smaller in overall look and feel. Great design for airflow, etc. just unfortunately a tad small. My Tilly hat size is 7 1/2 for reference.

Very breathable! I've washed it and it retains its shape.

Husband has a large bald head. Most hats are too snug or uncomfortable. This is EXCELLENT for sweat, comfort, style and sun protection. He has 3 and loves them.

These hats are well worth the money. I've been using them for years and have six in different colors. They are my go-to for any outdoor activities. They're lightweight and fast drying too. I yet to find a product that Outdoor Research makes that's not top quality.

The hats cover your face well in the sun. The mesh keeps yout head cool! Nice colors. More expensive in stores. Will buy again.

I've tried a bunch of different sun hats for hiking in the summer and none of them fit my 21.5 hat size very well without looking really weird or bubbling up in the back. This one is great though. I own lots of OR things, they know what they're doing!

Love the design of these hats. I get a lot of compliments when I wear mine. I own one in lime green and another in khaki.

My dad loved it so much, he ordered a 2nd one 5-6 years later when his finally wore out. He was very specific wanting a shorter bill, light weight, white, breathable cap. Adjustable strap for any size.

Purchased for sun protection during walks / day hikes in sunny warm months.Well-made; good materials and construction.Darker fabric covers under-visor to reduce light reflecting off ground level.However, the curve on the bill can be off center.Out of sample of two, kept the one that was much less askew.Was concerned cap style could fly off under light windy conditions.Glad when taking cap off, feels like the pre-shaped visor helps to keep cap secure near the temples on either side of the face. Feels snug, but not overly tight or uncomfortable.SEMI-Water Repellent construction.The main synthetic center strip and visor fabric is water repellent, water beads easily.BUT the exposed sides of the MESH layer is not, soaks up water readily.So would expect sides of the head to be wet under light rain.Fine in occasional rain showers, head should dry off quickly with the mesh sides.Worn on morning trails, good sun protection (cap style does leave ears uncovered).Feels cool in light breeze, sweatband working as designed - no sweat dripping and stinging eyes.Overall happy with purchase. Good cap for designed purpose.Likely consider getting additional in Khaki color.NOTE: 4 stars for Sun Protection = max stars for Cap-Style IMHO, not due to bad design.

It pricey, but the hat is comfortable, keeps the sun off the top of my bald head and is well ventilated. I'm glad I found it.

Quite simply the most comfortable hat I've ever worn. As a runner I sweat and during the warm and hot seasons this gets worse. This hat is primarily for those seasons, to provide sun protection for my eyes and breath-ability so air does not get trapped like under normal hats and actually make me sweat more. From the pictures I was concerned about the size of the buckle but I barely notice it while wearing the hat. The hat is also form fitting and fits comfortably with my close cropped hair. I don't know the current state of military caps but this seems tailor made for military service caps.

I was getting tired of buying new trucker hats every few months due to sweat stains, so I gave this a go. It's my absolute favorite summer hat now. I can sweat all day in it, and it will still look brand new the next day. The mesh liner and the general lightweight construction is also really effective at reducing how much I sweat.

This is my second OR Swift cap. These are weightless, quick drying and easy to hand wash in the sink. They fit great, and look sharp. The only downside to these is the strap back fastener. It is designed to separate, so one can unclip it, and re-clip it around a ponytail. Unfortunately, the closure design makes it too easy to come undone unintentionally. So sometimes the rear strap is open and hanging there. The bigger issue with that is that the rear strap is thus an unreliable place to clip this cap to a carabiner or even hang it on a hook. Since it comes undone so easily, you could quickly loose the cap. Sadly, there is no convenient loop or hook to use in its place. Instead, I have to separate the layers of strap webbing attached behind the fixed half of the quick release buckles and work that around the carabiner. It's really fussy and fiddly to get it on and off a biner or clip link--not what you'd want in a hat made for outdoor activity. OR please beef up that rear buckle so it reliably stays closed--or add a low profile loop for easy hanging.

The extra strap in the back doesn't stay tucked in very well.

I always wear caps when I'm out and this one is by far the most comfortable. Also looks great

This hat is awesome. Super lightweight but a nice stiff brim. Wicks moisture very well and dries super fast. And it didn't retain any smells so far! I am very surprised by this in particular. I wore this hat for 10 days straight while travelling and hiking. I threw it in the washing machine in a mesh bag after my trip and it came out great. I may have to buy another.
