Works fine. Much better the the stick in type. This product does the job and seems like it will last - seems very sturdy

Love them. They screw into the ends of the uncooked corn easily. You can boil the corn with them inserted. They cool to the touch after cooking quickly. They stay in well. The different colors are fun.

The concept is solid and the product is good once you get it screwed in to the cob. My only complaint is that getting the things started is a little tough, especially when the cobs are hot and fresh out of the boil pot. I’m still much more comfortable letting my little kids use these than the metal forks I used as a kid.

just the right size for kids and adults to hold onto the ear of corn.

I bought these for my kids to use. We originally had the traditional corn shaped metal ones, but they kept pulling them out and I was worried they would hurt themselves. These are much safer and stay in the corn better, but they are a bit difficult to get into the corn

My birthday is July 27th. Turns out that in our neck of the woods here in Northeastern, Pennsylvania, the local sweet corn hits our local stand like clockwork, every Summer the week of my birthday. We've been getting our corn on the cob from this same little, rickety, wooden, farm stand since the late 70's and for just as long we've been suffering and being aggravated trying to hold it to eat it without dropping it, breaking our teeth and creating a three ring circus. Until now.I saw these little gems and figured... Why not?. Guess what? They work! What more can I say? If you've had enough of the old fashioned, nails in thin plastic that have actually passed for corn holder, then these are for you! They easily and I mean easily, screw right into the ends of the cob, with deep threads and oncse screwed in, they don't come out until you take them out! They can be tightened and are super secure! These babies hold your corn! Furthermore , you never again have to worry about eating too close to the end of an ear and kissing your teeth goodbye when you accidentally bite down on a steel pin!No rust! Simple cleanup! Top it off with a nifty little case they snap into, and are held firmly, to keep them safe and secure instead of rattling around in a drawer and getting lost! Whoever designed these thought of every detail! These things will make your life easier and like us, make eating local, Pennsylvania Sweet Corn a pleasure! Butter it up and crunch away! Oh, and don't forget the Lawry's Season Salt along with the butter! You owe it to yourself to buy these little gems!

Went into the larger end easily but could not work it into the small end. Prong type holders work much better.

Thought they'd be a little bigger, but otherwise I like them.

We were tired of the corn holders we had, each one with 2 long pins with sharp points. If the corn was thin, and you didn't insert the pins just right, they could stick out and pose a hazard. These do have a pretty sharp point, but they're plastic, not metal, and it's just one per holder, and they seem like much less of a potential hazard when inserted in the cob. Recommended!

These are fantastic!! So much more sturdy than versions with metal prongs. Easy to use, great for kids, those with arthritis in their hands CUTE! The only reason I gave 3 in warmth is because I haven’t ( will not) put them in raw corn them into boiling water. They do not, however; carry over heat from freshly cooked corn.

When sweet corn season comes around and you are doing nothing but eating corn, you NEED these. Rather than stabbing your corn with 4 rusty prongs just SCREW IT! Remember you are holding corn and not tightening a vice grip to bend metal. We haven’t broken one yet after a heavy sweet corn season. Good buy for sure!
