This item was purchased to attend a summer camp where rainbow trout were guaranteed to be caught and not released, but rather cooked. My scout troop cooked trout every night with this cooker. It fit (2) trout 1-2 pound fish with room to spare and makes for a safe campfire cooking experience.

I wish that the opposite end from the handle wasn't attached as it is easier to dump fish on a plate with only one half.

I searched a long time for a proper fish griller and settled on this design. But after just 3 uses on the gas grill, three of the wires have detached from the frame and is no longer effective to hold the fish in place. Unfortunately I purchased this in late October, and it is now February. I would like the vendor to allow me to replace it for the same product and give it another try.

I bought 4 of thesespray with a non stick oil and grill away. Fillets do not break apart and the rack has enough space in it to add a topping to the fish after flippingI cook walleye, snapper, roughy and others.the real beauty of these is that you can sit the rack right over the burner on a gas grill and get even heat while letting the handles stay outside the grille.I do four at a time 10 min or so perfect fish. Top side down firstflip to skin side and add toppings etc.enjoy!
