Eating and activities have now gotten easier for those stuck in bed, thanks to this Over Bed Table with a U-Base from Clinton. Height adjustable, this versatile tool is ideal for hospitals, assisted living, long-term care and other multi-resident facilities. Stability is provided by the sturdy four-point, chrome-plated U-Base. The dual wheel nylon casters allow for easy movement and access. The low frame-to-floor clearance and the U-Base allow the unit to fit easily around and under bed mechanisms which extend to the floor and block other types of bases. Not just for bed, the low profile of the table also allows for it to be placed and positioned under chairs, recliners and side seating when patients are out of bed. A benefit to staff as well as the tabletop is an ideal place to temporarily place supplies or act as a quick desk to jot some notes. The top, which is gray laminate to match most decors, is generously sized at 16" x 31.5". The height is adjusted via a single hand, spring loaded height adjuster. Latex-Free, the table has a distributed weight capacity of 50 lbs. The height of the table adjusts from 31"-41.5". Two of the casters feature locks, ensuring once the table is placed, it stays in place. In addition to making activities and meals easier, adjusting the height allows patients to rest their arms and reduce back stress. The U-Base allows the table to more easily fit in tight and restricted space areas. The table and base are easy to clean with mild soap on a damp, warm cloth.
