Mission: In Christ-like service, equipping and empowering people to live a successful, joy-filled life. There are three areas of poverty: physical, emotional and spiritual. We seek to address these areas with groceries, financial assistance, mentoring relationships and sharing our faith. Through our many years of ministry, we have learned through success and failures how to better serve those in need. We strive to be a relational ministry where everyone is encouraged to discover their talents and abilities and find God's purpose for their life.
Target demographics: Families living in poverty
Direct beneficiaries per year: 1,500 different families received groceries, 18,000 meals were served, 900 new families received assistance
Geographic areas served: Parker County, Texas
Programs: Short Term Assistance:Meals, Groceries and Financial Assistance. Long Term:Adult Education, Career Development, The Hope Chest Internship Program and Family Empowerment.
