Mission: Raise public awareness about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and help women with the condition overcome their symptoms and reduce their risk for life-threatening related diseases such as endometrial cancer, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Results: Serving over 55,000 members, PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association is the leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit support and advocacy organization globally that is advancing the cause for women and girls with polycystic ovary syndrome. Because of individuals like you, we now touch the lives of tens of thousands of women with PCOS and their supporters each year through television and radio programming, a magazine publication, online and offline support groups, health screenings, research, grants, education, awareness and advocacy initiatives. Since our beginning, we have helped many people with PCOS overcome their struggles with infertility, weight gain, anxiety and depression and reduce their risk for numerous life-threatening related diseases.

Target demographics: Up to 14 million women and girls in the U. S. who are affected by polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 55,000 PCOS Challenge members and tens of thousands of other women and girls with PCOS through PCOS Challenge's awareness, education and outreach initiatives.

Programs: 1) Increasing awareness of the disorder through national and international awareness campaigns. 2) Providing support for PCOS patients through the organization's online support network and live virtual peer support program. 3) Developing and disseminating educational resources for patients and healthcare providers. 4) Driving legislative advocacy and health policy efforts. 5) Increasing access to care and quality of care for PCOS patients. 6) Advancing patient-centered research and helping to design, optimize and support PCOS-related research studies.
