Target demographics: Positive Tomorrows is Oklahoma's only private, tuition-free elementary school that specifically serves children experiencing homelessness.

Direct beneficiaries per year: During the current year positive tomorrows added a new kitchen and cafeteria that allowed us to cook food on-site and hire a school chef. Programs: Our education program provides a trauma-informed, differentiated education to students in pre-K through sixth grade, and removes barriers to learning like food, transportation, school supplies, medical care and basic necessities. Students experiencing homelessness are one to two years behind both academically and socially, so our certified teachers create personalized educational plans for students and also focus on social growth. Our goal is not to serve every child from pre-k to sixth grade, but to help students catch up emotionally and academically so that they can successfully transition back into the public school program.
