Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development - Agricultural

Mission: To teach agricultural appreciation, outdoor education, cultural connections, and the wise use of natural resources.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Annually, we directly impact at least 2,450 students and 860 adults through customized field trips and educator training workshops on at least 120 service days. An additional minimum 1,600 youth and 1,200 adults will experience Prairie Loft programs though community events and other activities. This reflects a 5-year increase of 100% in both participant numbers and service days.

Geographic areas served: We are rooted in South Central Nebraska and serve Adams County and surrounding communities.

Programs: Our farm-based outdoor education program cultivates a deeper understanding of where we live, enhancing our community by offering exceptional programs for all ages that connect people, food, and the land. We provide hands-on, place-based learning activities unique to our region. Activities include field trips, family programs, summer camps, learning workshops, community events, service learning, and more!
