Mission: The mission of PADS Crisis Services is to provide emergency shelter and supportive services to families with children and individuals who are experiencing homelessness in Lake County.

Geographic areas served: Lake County, Illinois

Programs: Pads lake county: the only non-restrictive emergency shelter in lake county where no one is turned away. Pads sleeps approximately 160 people per night between october 1st and april 30th and approximately 28 people per night between may 1st and september 30th.

safe haven: a housing program for fifteen adults who are chronically homeless and have a serious mental illness.

the family center: to provide emergency shelter, meals, tutoring and self-help groups year-round for families with children.
