I am theorizing that the development of VOIP is the reason for needing a telephone with variable volume, as I find the clarity Ievel I can use boosts my understanding of what is being said. Other Panasonic phones are thought to be superior too, but this one has a greater range of choices in volume. I have even ordered a third phone of the same kind.

Overall, the phone does a good job on increasing the volume which helps a lot. I believe the clarity could be improved, but it works pretty well. It is great having the volume where you need it when first answering a call. The slowing the speaking button doesn't have any effect that I can determine, but it works fine as it is.

The phone is great ,the additional phone does not work when plugged in , tried the help page to find out what to do, that was useless, still don't have it connected I am so mad about this.

I love the boost you can push when you're speaking to someone on the phone. It's lounging and clear. The electrical outlet that it is plugged into, is very loose so the phone on the base isn't charging.

Purchase this for an older person who is hard of hearing. After trying another product this product was stellar sound quality is excellent ease of use phenomenal and also has a visual alert for an older person.

This unit is great for someone who is hearing impaired. Also the buttons are larger for ease of using key pad.Sound quality is great. Definitely recommend.
