I really can't stand wearing sunblock: spray or lotion. It feels like I've been coated with oil and sweat doesn't evaporate, making me more hot. This shirt solved it.I've seen the landscapers in my neighborhood wearing shirts like these, and I figured they must be on to something:Seems crazy to wear a long-sleeved shirt to work in the sun, but it's actually cooler than wearing a cotton T-shirt: this really does wick away sweat and it evaporates quickly, cooling you down fast. And by some magic, it doesn't 鈥渟tink up鈥?after getting very sweaty.Four stars instead of five because the fabric stains easily and most stains are permanent: oil-based, spray fertilizer, etc.Cheap enough that I bought several and kept aside one for jobs when I'm likely to spill/splash some chemical on it.Buy the lighter colors: they're cooler. But no matter what color you buy, if you sweat, it's gonna show as wet, but that's the fabric doing it's wicking job:As soon as you've cooled down, they look great: no sweat rings and so far no underarm discoloration.
