This meter is perfect for taking out to the job site. It has a shock resistant outer case and a backlit display to see in low light areas. Select the audible sound position when you're testing fuses, or testing for continuity. The NF-5320A is small enough to fit in a tool belt or tool box.
Don't let the small 5-3/4" x 2-3/4" x 1-5/8" size and price fool you. The NF-5320A performs more test than your standard small meter. It tests capacitance, frequency, and diodes which most low cost small meter leave out. It checks for live voltage around AC sockets without any test leads attached. The NF-5320A turns off by itself to save battery power like most meters, but it also has a stay on function for monitoring voltage which works well with the Max button.
You can also use the NF-5320A as a bench meter. The built-in stand unsnaps to prop up your meter for a better viewing angle when using on you work bench. The stand works with or without the rugged case so the meter stays protected if needed. Convenient hold button freezes the display so that you can release the test leads without losing your reading.
