This tool is specially designed to crimp thick metal, large gauge, solderless connectors. The hydraulic action works perfect for power breakaway connectors and battery terminals.

Always get a tight secure hold with this hydraulic action crimp tool. Its multiple dies pinch the crimp connector on six sides instead of smashing the center of the connector like most crimping tools. The hydraulic pumping action assists in the pressure you put on the tool to make it easier to crimp thick metal, large gauge, crimp connectors. The tool works like a hydraulic car jack, that assist you in lifting up a car.
To get started, insert the right size dies that match the crimp connector and wire that are being crimped. Strip and install the wire inside the crimp connector and insert them in between the correct size dies. Tighten the thumb screw and pump the tool just like a hydraulic car jack until the dies come together. Pull on the wire to verify a secure hold and untighten the thumb screw to release the pressure.
Note: Add hydraulic fluid, if needed, by unscrewing handle assembly.
