These spring-loaded, nine-tine banana plug connectors are manufactured with a removable threaded sleeve that's wrapped in real carbon fiber for modern appeal and character. A color-coded ring offers quick polarity identification.
Milled from solid brass and plated in 24 karat gold to provide a long lifetime of service free of oxidation, each connector features two flat-head screws, beneath the removable sleeve, to create a gas-free connection between your speaker wire and the connector.
Spring-loaded tines create a more solid connection with 5-way binding posts and banana jacks than standard banana plugs. Accepts up to 8 AWG wire, and the removable tip is interchangeable with the BFA style banana plug tip used on as well as the 1/4" to 3/8" forked spade tip used on . Sold two pair per package, two with red rings and two with black rings. Dimensions: 1-7/8" L x 1/2" Dia.
Note: When using high-strand cable, tinned leads will provide the greatest retention by the set screws. Clear nylon is placed beneath the two screws to secure them during shipping. Please remove prior to use. The knurled portion of this connector is for connector insertion only, please do not try to use it to remove the carbon fiber sleeve.
