I have a TCL Alto 5 soundbar kit, and the wireless subwoofer does not have a separate volume control, and it is a little heavy on the bass. So I did some basic research, and the main search term I used to find a solution was speaker attenuator. This L-Pad device is pretty much designed to do exactly that. If you have basic electrical knowledge, you shouldn't have difficulty installing this. A sample hookup schematic is printed right on the box it came in. Even though the sub's impedance is 4 ohms and this L-Pad is 8 ohms, that doesn't seem to be a problem. Sounds just fine!
