Bench testing or field testing is a perfect fit for the B35T. Many times when testing outlets, live wires, or components on a PC board keeping the probes in the right spot and reading the display is almost impossible. Download the free Owon Multimeter BLE4.0 app to a smart phone and solve this age old problem. The meter will speak the value of the reading through a mobile device using Android 4.3 or above / iOS 7.0 or above OS. The large backlit 3" (5/6) digit 6,000 count full scale display is always available when a mobile device is not around.
Mute the voice when it's not needed and use the meter to save readings to a mobile device over a certain time period. Clamp the test leads to a component that needs testing and walk away from the meter. The mobile app enables you to control the meter up to 30 feet away. Choose the setting on the smart phone screen and the meter will continually read out values and save them to the mobile device. If needed, this app will let two meters sync to one smart phone and display the values side-by-side.
