Best sub ever

Definitely the best bang for your buck. Awesome deep bass that will make you want to upgrade your stock speakers for better ones to keep up to the power of this bass

Best subwoofer for the price point.For a 12inch dual 2 ohm wired it up to 4 ohm and bridged it on a 800watt amp. Broke it in,Now It really hits hard and I've been able to abuse it daily for the past few months no issues at all no clipping nothing.

Definitely worth the money I was running 2 of these on a 1500 watt system and if you're a bass head like I am you start to get used to it so I'm now running 4 of these and I can't wait to hear it skar is definitely my go to speakers I wish I would've bought a skar 3k but instead I bought a Taramp and I like it but it's so easy to make it clip and they definitely hit I've put mine through hell and back and they're still as loud as I bought them don't let anyone else tell you they're bad speakers

For what you get its one of the best subs I have used. I have used a lot of different subs on the current set up I have and none of them have compared to the about of bass this one produces. Skar is now my go to place for subs.

This sub was way better than I could have expected. For around $100? 100 worth it. I've only had it in for a day now but lemme tell you, this thing bumps. I'm only pushing around 200w RMS through it but it's enough for me. Would definitely recommend

I purchased the SDR-1X12D2 from Skar Audio's site, so that's why this review isn't verified. I have pics to show I've bought one. My review will be talking about it's performance and sound paired with the box Skar Audio offers that is used for the SDR-1X12D2.I've never heard any audio equipment from Skar Audio whatsoever up until this point, so I was definitely jumping into it blind to purchase this sub and try it out.My amp I have (already had it for a while, so wasn't going to dish out cash for a new/different) is only capable down to 2 ohms. If you buy the SDR-1X12D2, it will be configured to run in a 1 ohm configuration. However, know that you can change wires around so it is wired for 2 ohms (since it's dual 2 ohm connections inside, and it will end up as 1 or 2 ohms depending on wiring); just search it up online. In the case of the SDR-1X12D2, I did not need other wire than what was inside, though I did have to snip the daisy-chained cables since they were soldered.I have mine set up in my Fiesta ST (barely fits with the enclosure the SDR-1X12D2 uses). Electronic music is my thing, and this sub sure adds so much more life than my previous 12 sub. It hits extremely well but, just as importantly, sustains low notes exceptionally well. It's able to handle ridiculous volume too, if I'm in the mood for that. Absolutely 5 stars for first impressions, and I'll update my review if anything changes.

Just ordered 2 of these to replace my 500 watt ECO 12 SA's and have to say these hit hard as hell, running on A 1500 SSL 1500 M evolution, will add another amp later, will be adding a BASS capacitor tomorrow. To who ever is undecided, Buy these hit hard and a great price.

I thought this was one of the better subs I have bought until it got hot in my hatchback and started smoking.

Hits hard

I bought the SDR 12 with dual 4 ohm voice coils. Wired to 2 ohms in SKAR audios prefab ported single subwoofer box. Pushing 550 watts rms to it from a planet audio 5 channel 2 ohm stable amp. All I can say is DMN..... Mobile Massage!!!!

This sub is perfect all around thump. Coupled with an alpine mono amp at 500w this thing is awesome. Enough to rattle the windows and shake the trunk in my POS car. Great for every day drive on a lower power setting but enough to shake the fillings in your teeth when turned up.

This thing slams with 1100 watt amp and skar 2^3 box

definitely hits hard and if tuned right they dont bottom out
